Shopping lists, and sharing one with the family

Say your shopping in one breath and each thing gets its own line. Then share the list as a link so anyone can tick things off or add to it, no app needed.

  1. Tap the mic and say what you need: “milk, bread, eggs and a bag of dog food”.
  2. Each thing goes on your Shopping list on its own line. Open it from Lists.
  3. Remembered something else? Tap the mic at the bottom of the list and say it.
  4. Tap Share, then Send a link they can tick off.
  5. They open the link on any phone or computer. What they tick is ticked in your planner, and what they add shows who added it.
  6. Links last two weeks. Stop one any time in Settings, Shared links, Stop sharing.

Bills: say it or snap it, and get reminded in time

Say a bill with its amount and due date, or take a photo of it. Rates in instalments become one bill per instalment, each with its own reminder.

  1. Tap the mic and say the bill: “electricity bill, three hundred and twelve dollars, due the twenty eighth”.
  2. It picks out the amount and the due date. Tap Yes, remind me, and you're reminded a couple of days before it's due.
  3. Bill in your hand? Tap the camera and take a photo. Agenzus reads the amounts and due dates off it.
  4. A notice with instalments becomes one bill per instalment, each with its own reminder.
  5. Lists, Bills shows what's coming up, in date order.
  6. Paid one? Tap Yes, paid (or tick it). Tapped it by mistake? Tap Undo.

Projects: a big job, said once

Talk through a job the way you'd explain it to someone, and Agenzus turns it into a project with the steps in order. The deposit goes in your bills, the things to buy on your shopping list.

  1. Tap the mic and talk the job through: “bathroom reno: get quotes from Jim's Tiling and Coastline Tiles, pay the four hundred dollar deposit by Friday, buy tiles, grout and silicone…”
  2. It becomes a project with the steps in order. The top of the project always says what's next.
  3. The deposit is in Bills and the tiles and grout are on your Shopping list. Tick them off at the hardware store and they tick off in the project too.
  4. Finished a step? Tick it, and the next one comes up.
  5. Forgot something? In the project, tap the mic at the bottom and add a step.
  6. Tap Share to send the project as a link, so the household or the tradie can see where it's up to.

Courses of tablets and other schedules

Say a course of tablets once and Agenzus sets a reminder for every dose, ticked off as you go. Agenzus is a reminder tool, not medical advice.

  1. Tap the mic and say the course: “antibiotics twice a day for seven days, with food”. That's fourteen reminders, one for every dose.
  2. Open it to see the whole course and which dose is next.
  3. Today's doses are in Upcoming, and your phone reminds you when each one is due.
  4. Tick each dose off and it keeps count.
  5. Finished early, or the doctor changed it? Tap Stop early, and the rest of the reminders go.
  6. It works for anything on a schedule: eye drops, vitamins, physio exercises. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's directions.

Notes: talk it through, then Tidy up

Talk for up to ten minutes and Agenzus keeps every word. Tidy up gives you a cleaner version, and the jobs it finds can go straight into your planner.

  1. Tap Notes, then Talk, and just talk. Up to ten minutes at a time.
  2. Your words are kept exactly as you said them.
  3. Tap Tidy up for a cleaner version. Tap Keep it, or Put my words back: nothing is lost.
  4. Agenzus pulls out the jobs, with their dates. Tap Add to Planner on the ones you want, or Make these a project for all of them.
  5. The note stays in Notes, to look back on.

Upcoming: month, week and day

See what's coming three ways. Month for the big picture, week side by side, and day by the hour, with things that have no set time placed for you from 9am.

  1. Tap Upcoming at the bottom.
  2. Month: the number on a day is how many things are due, and an exclamation mark means something's overdue. Tap a day to see what's on.
  3. Under the calendar: the next two weeks, day by day, with anything overdue at the top.
  4. Tap Week to see seven days side by side. Tap a day to open it.
  5. Day lays it out by the hour. Things with a set time sit at their time.
  6. Things with no set time are placed from 9am, an hour apart, must do items first. They have a dashed edge and say No set time.
  7. Tap anything to open it and change it.

Changing things: fix a date, a time or a priority

Agenzus usually gets it right. When it doesn't, changing it takes a second, and anything overdue asks what you want to do.

  1. Just filed something that's not quite right? Tap Change on it.
  2. Everything's there: what it is, the date, the time, and when you're reminded.
  3. Change what you need, tap Must do if it matters, and tap Save.
  4. Anything in a list opens the same way: just tap it.
  5. Don't need it any more? Tap Delete, right at the bottom.
  6. Once something is a week overdue, it asks: Reschedule, Someday, or Drop.

Make it yours: reminders, planning and separate planners

Turn on reminders, choose how much Agenzus plans for you, choose how much fuss when you finish something, and keep parts of your life in separate planners.

  1. On Home, tap Turn on reminders and allow notifications, so your phone can remind you.
  2. Tap the gear for Settings. Under Planning, Think ahead picks reminder times for you, like two days before a bill. Just file it keeps only what you said.
  3. When you finish something: choose from Keep it quiet to Big (confetti).
  4. Under Your planners, add a planner such as Work.
  5. Then say which planner it's for: “work: send the quote to Smith Builders on Friday”.
  6. Use the planner menu at the top of Home to see one planner at a time, or all of them together.

Your to-do list: talk your day in, then get through it

Say your whole day in one go and every job lands under today. Put them in the order you'll do them, tick them off as you go, and swipe away anything you change your mind about.

  1. On Home, tap the mic and say your day: “call the bank, pick up the dry cleaning, email Sam the photos…”. Anything you say without a day goes to today.
  2. Tap the To-do box on Home to see your day.
  3. In the to-do list you can pick another day first, at No day said? It goes to.
  4. Tap Put in order, then tap the jobs in the order you'll do them, and tap Done. The numbers stay.
  5. Done one? Tick it. It stays crossed off so you can see what you've done, and Clear takes it off the list (it's kept in Done).
  6. Changed your mind? Swipe it away, left or right. Tap Undo if that was a mistake.
  7. Anything still ticked clears itself overnight, so every day starts fresh.
